Hi, I’m Yuxin. I study how we get to know our coworkers as whole people beyond their professional roles, and how learning about one another’s nonwork lives can bring us closer or create unexpected social costs. I’m curious about emerging work phenomena that invite us to rethink professional life. I enjoy spending time in the field and learning from people’s experiences. I bring these insights into conversation with existing scholarship to develop new questions and theory.
